2015 National Donate Life Month Sponsorship Opportunities

Web_NDLM Sponsor_TN

National Donate Life Month (NDLM) was instituted by Donate Life America and its partnering organizations, including Donate Life Mississippi, in 2003. Celebrated in April each year, NDLM features an ENTIRE MONTH of local, regional, and national activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye & tissue donors and to honor those who have saved lives through the gift of donation.

Currently, nearly 124,000 men, women and children are awaiting organ transplants in the United States and an average of 18 people die each day waiting for a transplant they will never receive.

Join Donate Life Mississippi with the most exciting Donate Life Month statewide event series as we raise awareness about the life-saving gift of organ, eye and tissue donation and support for the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency Public Education Fund, whose purpose is to teach Mississippians the facts about donation. Education is key to allowing our state to make an informed decision about donation, resulting in more lives saved.

This year’s line up includes:

Donate Life Night with the Mississippi Braves
Impressions of Life
The Legacy Lap
Racing for Donation 8k Run Walk & Celebration of Life Picnic
State-wide Hospital Ceremonies Honoring Donors and Donor Families
Gulf Coast Ribbon Cutting and Art Night
Drive for Life Golf Tournament
