Education is the key to increasing organ donation awareness and making life-saving transplants possible. Many people have never discussed donation with someone knowledgeable in the field. More importantly, people do not discuss donation with their families– the ones who ultimately make the donation decision. By educating and dispelling common myths, we create a society that is supportive of organ donation.

MORA provides speakers and educational materials free of charge. Our agency offers programs presented by transplant recipients, donor family members and MORA staff members. Programs are prepared to accommodate the needs of any age group, school, civic, church or health-care related organization. MORA tries to facilitate requests for participation at health fairs, community festivals, parades and local events- almost any venue to promote awareness of the need for organ and tissue donation.
