MORA's professional services staff is committed to facilitating organ and tissue donation for our state's hospitals in an organized, efficient and respectful manner.

In developing collaborative relationships between MORA and hospital staffs, we are guided by a community-service philosophy that embraces:

  • a compassionate advocacy for potential donor families;
  • a high regard for hospital physicians, nurses and support staff as our partners in donation;
  • a mindful awareness of waiting transplant recipients' needs, and
  • diligent, ongoing efforts to educate Mississippi's citizens about the need for organ and tissue donation and their rights to save and enhance lives through organ and tissue donation.
